Demystifying the Process
What is the Process?
How it Works
Step-by-Step

Owner & Founder Dr. Toby Goldman DVM, CHPV

Pet Placed in Water
Pet is placed in his/her own individual compartment inside a stainless steel vessel.

Gentle Water
A combination of gentle water flow, temperature, and alkalinity accelerates the natural process
of decomposition.

Urn Placement
At the end of the process, the only solid remains are the bones. These are returned to the owner as ashes.
Questions
Fequently Asked Q&A
Deciding on the best aftercare for your pet is a deeply personal process. We encourage you to talk with your family and consider a few key factors.
First, if you're thinking about burial, it's crucial to confirm that it's legal in your area. Backyard burials can present health risks to the local water table, so be sure to check your city's laws.
If cremation is a better fit, we want you to know about aquamation. It's a gentle, more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cremation. Unlike fire-based methods, aquamation doesn't produce harmful greenhouse gasses. An added benefit is that it returns a greater amount of your pet's ashes, which can be meaningful for families.
The cost of our water cremation services at Nevada Pet Aquamation is determined by your pet's weight. We offer two main options to choose from:
-
Our Private Cremation service, starting at $155, provides individual cremation for your beloved pet, with their ashes returned to you.
-
For those who do not wish to receive the ashes back, our Communal Cremation service starts at $125. With this option, your pet is cremated with others, and their ashes are respectfully scattered at sea by our partners at Oceans of Love.
-
The process takes about 10-14 days.
Deceased Pet Drop Offs are by appointment only. Please call our office to schedule.
